This letter is a little truncated this week, my apologies. I’ve been back in New York for a couple of days. I don’t know what time of week it is.
Although everyone’s job is reliant on computers we are still, at heart, social creatures. This was something I thought about a lot this week. So much of how I get anything done at work is through soft-power diplomacy.
It’s not about programming computers or making my role more efficient. It’s listening to people’s problems and helping them fix those things. In a way that’s mutually beneficial.
We’ll be back on form next week. Promise. Until then, bed.
